Introduction

I am a PhD candidate in Rhetoric, Composition, and Professional Communication at Iowa State University. Throughout my time here, I have been interested in how the personal voice is used in writing. When I am not teaching or researching, I enjoy playing piano, juggling, ice skating, and knitting. Developmental Blog

I started my blog when I first began researching the topic for my MA thesis. Since my blog is developmental, it is strictly professional. I initially used it to communicate with my committee members and I have continued to maintain it as I continue my work in the PhD program.
